Human Hair Extensions Care Guide

Taking proper care of your human hair extensions is essential to maintain their natural beauty, longevity, and shine. Follow this guide to ensure your extensions look flawless every day.  ------------

Washing

To keep your extensions clean and soft, wash them gently with sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. Use lukewarm water and avoid scrubbing or tangling the hair. Instead, apply the shampoo and gently work it through the strands, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. Rinse thoroughly, then apply a moisturizing conditioner. After washing, carefully pat the extensions dry with a soft towel—never wring or twist them.

--------------------

Brushing

Brush your extensions daily to prevent tangles and maintain a smooth texture. Use a wide-tooth comb or a specially designed extension brush. Always start from the ends and work your way up to the roots. Hold the base of the extensions while brushing to avoid unnecessary pulling on the bonds or clips. Never brush wet extensions, as this can weaken the strands and cause breakage.

------------------

Styling

Human hair extensions can be styled just like your natural hair. Use heat styling tools such as straighteners, curling irons, and blow dryers at moderate temperatures to avoid heat damage. Always apply a heat protectant spray before styling. Avoid overusing products like hairspray or gel, as these can build up over time and require frequent washing, which may shorten the lifespan of your extensions.

-----------------------

Dyeing

Since human hair extensions are made from real hair, they can be dyed to match your desired shade. However, it’s recommended to consult a professional hairstylist for dyeing to ensure even color application and to avoid damaging the extensions. If you’re dyeing at home, always perform a strand test first and use ammonia-free, semi-permanent dyes for the best results.

Storage

Proper storage helps maintain the quality of your extensions. When not in use, store them in a silk or satin bag to prevent tangling and friction. For clip-ins, use extension hangers or holders to keep them neatly arranged. Always ensure the extensions are completely dry before storing to avoid mildew or odor. For long-term storage, keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

By following these care tips, your human hair extensions will stay soft, shiny, and beautiful, ensuring you enjoy luxurious hair for longer!
